Before the wedding Rachael and I exchanges many e-mails and she also sent me a few photos of herself so that I could start thinking about her look. However, we didn’t meet in person until the big day.
This always makes we feel a little nervous, as we get just one opportunity to get the look right, not be mention will she like me…eeek! But I needed have worried; I met Rachael and her 2 friends in in a little B&B near her wedding venue of Tunnel Beaches and it was a very relaxed morning. Rachael is a lovely person, so gentle and sweet and spending the morning with her special bunch of friends was full of laughter and joy.
The seaside theme to Rachael’s day had an exotic twist, reflected in the orchids her wore in her hair and carried in her bouquet. The beach theme then played out in splattering of tiny starfish shells mixed though her flowers and her beautiful shimmering dress, which she’d customized herself with extra golden sequined.

To add to her beach theme Rachael had the perfect bronzed glow, which we emphasised with a sweep of bronzer across her forehead, cheekbones and collarbones. I then added warmth to her cheeks with a subtle watermelon pink blusher and highlighted her brow bone and cheekbone to add some all-important glamour to the fresh beach look.
Too much make-up can look heavy on tanned skin, so I avoided dark colours on the eyes and instead opted for Rachael’s favourite pink and purple shades. To create this soft pretty look I used MAC pink (All-That-Glitters) all over the lid and then darkened the outer lid and crease with MAC Purple (Shale).
With pink eye shadow it’s really important apply a dark colour to the lash line to add definition. I did this by adding a simple gel eyeliner in dark brown, a generous helping of mascara and individual cluster lashes to elongate her lashes and give them a flirty feline finish.
Finally I added a pinkie nude lip and voila, a summery understated look that says natural beauty at its best
